Wilkens Health and Safety Solutions (WHSS) annually takes part in a range of charity events. On Thursday, July 5th, 2018, WHSS was a tournament sponsor and participated in the 20th Annual Director's Charity Golf Tournament organized by the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board (ALCDSB) and hosted at Trillium Woods Golf Club.
Monies raised by this year's tournament were given to the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic Education Foundation (ALCEF). The ALCEF established the Emergency Response Fund which provides immediate financial assistance to children and their families within the ALCDSB school system. The assistance includes the provision of eyeglasses, medical supplies, food and clothing, transportation, and many other financial needs resulting from family crises.
WHSS is proud to have given to such a worthwhile cause and looks forward to participating again next year.
