Wiebke Wilkens has been in the health and safety field for over 25 years. She set up her own business: Wilkens Health and Safety Solutions in 2001. From a career that began with the Ministry of Labour in 1986, Wiebke moved to Queen's University in 1996, to become the Director of Environmental Health and Safety; it was there she got the idea for her own business.
